"The Circulating Audio Says A Lot About Alleged Komichi's Resignation Letter," - Ruhanya

Dr Pedzisai Ruhanya, the director of the Harare-based Zimbabwe Democracy Institute (ZDI) has said that an analysis of the audio circulating on social media in which the receiver of a call is believed to be MDC’s Morgan Komichi speaks volumes on the resignation letter alleged to have been written by Komichi.

Ruhanya speaks when the opposition MDC has since dismissed as fake the purported resignation letter. See the letter below.

Posting on Twitter this Saturday, Ruhanya said:

Hon Komichi, tanzwa kuti masiya; Komichi: zviri nane! (Gapare: Hon Komichi, we heard you have left, Komichi responds: That’s better!), says Hon Senator Komichi responding to a caller called Gapare in a short audio circulating on social media. A discourses analysis of the audio says a lot about the resignation letter. Advise Hon Komichi accordingly!

The alleged resignation comes when there are reports suggesting that there are divisions in the party since the runup towards last year’s Congress that enhanced Nelson Chamisa’s presidency.
