No Fuel At All Service Stations In Gwanda - Report

A dire fuel crisis has hit the mining town of Gwanda as the town totally runs out of fuel, all service stations in the town are reportedly constantly out of fuel, The Chronicle reports.

According to a motorist that spoke to the publication, motorists are getting fuel at the black market:

The fuel situation in this town is so bad that it’s either there is no fuel at all in all service stations or there will be only one service station with fuel and there will be long queues.

I have opted to buy fuel from the black market which is going for R110 for 5 litres as the situation is unpleasant. This situation has to be addressed as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, the RBZ said it would publicise fuel finance facilities every week to encourage transparency just after ZERA invited companies with free funds to apply to sell fuel in forex.
