Kuda Tagwirei Given Last Chance To Appear Before Parliament

Kuda Tagwirei has been given the last chance to appear before the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Public Accounts Business Times reports.

Tagwirei has been given up to 16 March 2020 to appear before the commit or he will have to be dragged by the police to answer to the Tendai Biti chared committee.

Biti speaking to the publication about the Tagwirei’s impending appearance before his committee said:

We are expected to present our report to Parliament on March 22 and we have given Sakunda Holdings another chance to come before us for the oral evidence.

We have gathered a lot of information on the financial transactions that Sakunda received money from the Treasury.

The committee does not want to reach a situation where we are going to ask the police through the Clerk of Parliament to summon Sakunda Holdings executives including Tagwirei to appear before parliament to give us evidence.

Tagwirei has failed to appear before parliament 3 times since September 2019.
