Mapeza Requests Meeting With Chippa United Owner

Chippa United coach Norman Mapeza has reportedly requested a meeting with club boss Siviwe Mpengesi, where he is expected to discuss his future with the club, KickOff.com reports.

The meeting was scheduled for Monday evening, with concerns that Mapeza could walk away from the Chilli Boys. The publication’s source is quoted as saying:

Mapeza has requested a meeting with Mr Mpengesi where he is expected to discuss his future with the club.

Meanwhile, Chippa United secured an important victory over fellow relegation candidates AmaZulu in Port Elizabeth on Saturday.

The club is now 11th on the Absa Premiership table with 25 points after 23 matches, five points clear of the relegation zone.
