Afro-jazz Musician, Muchemwa To Release 2nd Album Soon

South African-based Afro-jazz musician Silas Carter Muchemwa said he will release his eight-track album titled Chivaraidze soon.

The Kwekwe-born artiste became a household name following the release of his video titled Machululu, which is currently featuring on regional television broadcaster Channel O. Said Muchemwa:

People in South Africa love my music and l am very humbled with the support l am getting from that side.

… Everything is now in place for the launch of my second album and we are working on the final touches of the last songs.

Muchemwa, who was born in Murehwa, attended Chemhondoro and Mucheke schools before he did a national diploma in transport at Kwekwe Polytechnic.

He has since released several singles and did collaborations with Tryson Chimbetu, Blue J — an Angolan singer — and TLC — a South Africa-based dancehall singer.
