The Guilt Are Afraid - MDC Speaks On Heavy Police Presence

The MDC has addressed the heavy police presence in the city and said the guilty are afraid Newsday reports. This was said by MDC Deputy Spokesperson Luke Tamborinyoka who said the police were deployed as a coy to thwart demonstrations should they occur.

Said Tamborinyoka:

Zimbabwe has become a police State, the guilty are afraid. We have tried to engage in peaceful protests, but they have been denying us our constitutional right.

They have been giving flimsy excuses whenever we notified them of intentions to engage in protests and we have realised we do not need to notify them anymore. We have drawn a line in the sand.

Meanwhile, the MDC has issued a statement saying state agents should not follow and intimidate their leaders as there might be dire consequences
