FULL TEXT: MDC Has Fired Victoria Falls Mayor From The Party With Immediate Effect

Chamisa Speaks On Claims That He Was Simon Rudland's Lawyer

The opposition MDC led by advocate Nelson Chamisa has fired Victoria Falls Mayor, Somvelo Dhlamini from the party.

In a letter dated 24 February and signed by party Secretary-General, Chalton Hwende, MDC also removed Dhlamini from the position of Councillor of Victoria Falls Municipality.

The reason for the dismissal is not stated but the letter indicates that the decision is consistent with Article 5.11 (a) of the party’s constitution.
