More Zimbabweans Have Died In Their Homes For Lack Of Healthcare Than Will Ever Die In Protests! – Sikhala

The vice-chairperson of the opposition MDC, Job Sikhala has called upon the citizenry to revolt against the government over the deteriorating state of affairs.

Sikhala who was recently acquitted of treason charges claims that socio-economic ills were killing the people more than protests would do.

Posting on Twitter, Zimbabwean journalist and filmmaker, Hopewell Chin’ono said that Job Sikhala demonstrates a higher level of political consciousness that many citizens lack! He added:

More Zimbabweans have died in their homes for lack of healthcare & due to a bad economy, than will ever die in protests!

Protests are constitutional & the regime knows there is a redline

  1. Is this person saying ZIMBABWEANS should be tortured and maimed in protests for Chamisa because they are dying anyway?Every life matters and if you know about this situation shame on you for not trying to hold discussions instead of setting up the people to your own ends. Imagine the horror that families are going through caring for the dying with no pain relief in their homes and the best you can is this. Do something to help not put a troublemaker in a job. Even Sudan can try. Please, be the bigger man and weaken a dictator by caring for the people.

  2. Let’s get real, France has had near constant protests for a year and nothing has changed. They are still in the same position as the first day they started. Protests will doing nothing, voting will do nothing. The country was taken by the gun and will need to liberated by the people of Zimbabwe using guns. There’s no short cuts.
