The country’s leading political party through its deputy spokesperson Luke Tamborinyoka said the lines have been drawn and they will soon engage in a series of demos without warning the or notifying the government.
Writing on Twitter Tamborinyoka said:
There will be no warning and no notice. We have since drawn the line in the sand. There will be more flash demos and we will not comply with undemocratic requirements. Hunger and joblessness do not give notice. #thepeople‘sgovernment.
The MDC has been issuing these demo threats for some time and Nelson Chamisa is on record saying he is organising something in whispers.
