Prince Phiri will tomorrow launch a 9 track Gospel Album in Tel Aviv Israel where he is based, B-Metro reports. Phiri spoke to the publication from Israel and said:
Initially I wanted the album to be titled Turning Around but because of the blessings that I have received from God, which have taken my career to greater heights, I decided the appropriate title for the album should be Shifting Higher
It took almost two years to get the album done and to be honest I almost quit at one point when I just couldn’t find the motivation to finish the project.
Then I relocated to Israel and it was during my time in the praise and worship team at the Redeemed Christian Church of God that I realised that I needed to finish the album as a testimony for the blessings that I received from the Almighty
Prince grew up in Bulawayo’s Pumula East Surburd and he started his musical journey in South Africa over a decade ago before moving to Israel in 2018.
