Zim Set To Receive First Batch Of Farming Machines From Belarus

Zimbabwe is set to receive the first batch of agricultural machines which will be shipped next month from Belarusian manufacturer, Gomselmash.

This was revealed by Director General of the company Aleksandr Novikov while addressing the media in Gomel this Thursday. He said:

The first batch of 20 items of machinery to Zimbabwe will be shipped in March this year. This is a pre-paid contract.

According to Belta, a Belarusian publication, Gomselmash is one of the largest manufacturers of agricultural machines and has sold machines to Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Czechia, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Argentina, Brazil, China, South Korea, Baltic states, and other countries.

The company manufactures grain and forage harvesters, ear corn harvesters, potato harvesters, mowers, and other agricultural machines.
