UK Govt Renews Sanctions On Zimbabwe, ISIL And Al Qaeda

The British government on Wednesday updated sanctions targeted against Zimbabwe and two terrorist organisations, the Islamic State of the Levante and Iraq (ISIL) also known as (Da’esh) and Al-Qaida.

Only the Zimbabwe Defence Industries’ assets remain frozen. A  statement released by the British government reads in part:

REGIME: Zimbabwe

Address: 10th Floor, Trustee House, 55 Samora MachelAvenue, PO Box 6597, Harare, Zimbabwe.

Other information: Associated
with the Ministry of defence and ZANU-PF faction of the government. Listed on: 24/07/2008 Last Updated: 23/02/2012 Group ID:10734.

Meanwhile, the late former President Robert Mugabe and his widow Grace, have been removed from the consolidated list and are no longer subject to an asset freeze.
