Jaure Urges ZIFA To Organise Friendlies Ahead Of CHAN

Captain of the Warriors squad made up of locally-based players, Partson Jaure has implored the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA), to organise an early camp and friendly matches before the 2021 African Nations Championship (CHAN) to held in Cameroon in April.

Zimbabwe is in Group A with the hosts Cameroon, Burkina Faso and Mali. Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Jaure:

I think the management should organize an early camp for us and a few international friendlies before the tournament.

This will help us to bond and know each other on the field. The matches will also help us to work on our strengths and weaknesses as a team.

Jaure added that the Warriors’ target is not just to go Cameroon to add numbers but to participate and represent the nation well.
