Tsenengamu Throws Chinamasa Under The Bus Over Reports That He And Matutu Accepted Disciplinary Measures By ZANU PF

Ousted ZANU PF Youth League Political Commissar, Godfrey Tsenengamu has said that he is not apologetic in fighting corruption and contrary to reports by The Chronicle, a State-run paper, he had not apologised for “fighting corruption.”

His remarks come after the Chronicle had reported suggesting that the duo had accepted disciplinary measures which the party’s Politburo recommended after they alleged violated the party’s code of conduct.

Responding to the remarks which were allegedly said by Patrick Chinamasa, Tsenengamu posted on Twitter saying:

Please don’t misinform the public. I have not apologised to anyone and l am not going to. I have not wronged the party in any way. I am not apologetic about fighting corruption. I will not trade off my conscience for neither a position nor 30 pieces of silver.

Tsenengamu and Matutu, as well as Pupurai Togarepi, were stripped of their posts after they publicly announced a list of individuals who were bleeding the economy, among them Sakunda boss Kuda Tagwirei and Billy Rautenbach.

The development prompted some to say that the named individuals were enjoying impunity as they were being protected by political elites.
