Man Loses US $5900 And A Pistol At Avondale Shops

A 50-year-old man reportedly lost his firearm and his money when thieves broke into his parked car at Avondale shops, The Herald reports.

The man, according to the publication parked his car and went into a shop, on his return he discovered that his car has been broken into and his money and firearm were missing.

The incident was confirmed by ZRP National spokesperson Ass Comm Paul Nyathi who said:

A 50-year-old man parked his car at Avondale shops and went into one of the supermarkets, On coming back, he discovered that his car had been broken into and a star pistol and US$5 900 had been stolen. The public is warned against leaving firearms and cash in vehicles
