Knowledge Musona Opens Up For The First Time On His Time At His New Club

Zimbabwe Warriors skipper, Knowledge Musona has said that he is happy to have game time at his new club KAS Eupen following a year and a half of inaction at Anderlecht.

Musona moved to Eupen on a loan which runs until the end of the season. He has since made his mark after he scored his first goal for the club in the first 10 minutes of his debut.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Belgian football journalist David Liz of Levanir Sport (lavenir.net/aseupen), Musona said:

Yes, I’m really enjoying my football again and I feel very comfortable in this Eupen team. You know, I didn’t have many opportunities at Anderlecht. I’m happy to be in Eupen and to have my chance. I feel good to be playing regularly again.

Game time for the Smiling Assassin, as Musona is affectionately known, comes at the moment when Zimbabwe is about to resume the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifiers in March.

The Warriors are currently second in their Afcon group on four points, two behind leaders and reigning Africa champions Algeria.

Musona played a crucial part in the Warriors’ 2-0 win against Zambia as he created both goals for his compatriot, Khama Billiat.
