Protestors in Malawi matched 5 kilometres in Lilongwe to the Malawian Electoral Commission(MEC) Offices where they used a rusty chain to chain and padlock the entrance of the MEC demanding the commission’s chairwoman to steps down, The Chronicle reports

A protestor that spoke to AFP reportedly said:

We are not stopping here until Jane Ansah resigns. This is the MEC that we don’t want because we cannot trust them. We need a new MEC which can operate to the expectations of all Malawians

The Malawian Constitutional court the Constitutional Court ordered Malawi to repoll within 150 days, after evidence of vote-rigging emerged.
