Lawyer Deregistered For Abuse Of Trust Funds

The Law Society of Zimbabwe(LSZ) has deregistered one Belvin Bopoto for abuse of trust funds and misrepresentation, ZimMorning post reports.

The deregistration of Bopoto was confirmed by the LSZ.s Edward Musara who said:

Bopoto was found guilty of misrepresentation before a court of law for failure to comply with client’s instructions despite the client having withdrawn his instructions and asked for restitution. The case against Bopoto amounts to abuse of trust funds

Bopoto was found guilty by the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal (LPTD) after he appeared before the courts of law.
