Zanu PF Officials Can Not Speak In Public In Their Individual Or Personal Capacities - Chinamasa

The Zanu PF secretary for administration, former Finance Minister Patrick Chinamasa has said Zanu PF officials or Zanu PF people who hold offices can only express personal views that differ with the party’s policies at their own homes.

Speaking to the publication Chinamasa said:

…if such leaders hold any personal views on politics and public affairs and such personal views differ from the Party’s position and policies, they can only express such contrary views at their homes. Otherwise, they are not justified to complain where consequences follow their actions. Cadres in leadership positions cannot articulate in public statements which are contrary to party policies and positions

Chinamasa was referring to newly suspended Zanu PF youth league officials Godfrey Tsenengamu and Lewis Matutu who were suspended for naming corrupt cartels who they accused of wreaking havoc in the economy.
