Tsenengamu Challenges Political Leaders To Choose Between Cartels Or The People

Suspended former ZANU PF Youth League secretary for the commissariat, Godfrey Tsenengamu has challenged leaders of political parties in Zimbabwe to choose either to be on the side of thieving cartels or the people.

Tsenengamu added that the fight against corruption should cut across the political divide as polarisation will be a hindrance in the struggle. He said:

Corruption is killing us especially the young. We commit to fight this scourge to the bitter end. The leadership has a choice to make either to be with the people or with thieving cartels. It is a defining moment. Suspensions and threats won’t silence us.

A divided nation won’t prosper. Parties are defending thieving members. We cant have a partisan approach to corruption. Polarization is taking us back and these leaders must break it for the national good. Simple.

Tsenengamu was suspended from the party together with deputy youth secretary Lewis Matutu after they accused President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s allies Kudakwashe Tagwirei, Billy Rautenbach and Tafadzwa Musarara of corruption that has run Zimbabwe’s economy aground.
