Chi Mhende To Star In Netflix’s First Original African Series

Zimbabwean born South African based actress Chiedza Mhende will star in Netflix’s first original African series Queen Sono, Sunday News reports.

Chi ( real name Charlene Chiedza, Kudzai Mhende) will work with actresses like Pearl Thusi in the streaming giants’s first-ever original series in Africa as they try to penetrate the continent’s film and television industry.

Chi made a name for herself as Wandile Radebe on Generations. Queen Sono is a South African crime drama that will premier on Friday 28 February.
