3 CUT Students Win $1 Million In The POTRAZ Kadoma Hackathon,

3 students at Chinhoyi University of Technology won the POTRAZ hackathon in Kadoma today after developing the innovation that passed as the best innovative prototype of the competition, ZBC reports.

Tatenda Chris Chinyamakobvu, Munyaradzi Muneka, and Elvin Kakomo will now go to the Global Innovation Competitions in Switzerland in April where they will showcase their developed idea which is centred on the development of an app that can be used to detect the occurrence of an accident, its impact and location for rapid response.

The students won $1 Million and they will retain part of it to further develop their idea.
