Trump Claims 225 000 "Jobs, Jobs, Jobs" Were Added In USA In January Alone

USA President, Donald Trump has claimed that 225 000 jobs were created in January 2020 alone and that puts him off track to achieve his goal by 2026 and he trails Obama in average monthly job gains. Trump’s original economic plan in 2016 said it would create 25 million new jobs and inject energy into a sluggish economy.

Meanwhile, over 6.7 million more Americans are employed today compared to when Trump first took office, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the economy is still adding jobs at a robust pace with many employers struggling to fill open positions in a tight labor market and older Americans retire in greater numbers.

Trump also has missed on a number of targets including reduction of the country’s date. When he assumed office in 2017, the USA had a debt of nearly $20 trillion but it now stands at over $23 trillion.

He has also failed to lock in above-average growth for the American economy. He had pledged to make the economy average 3.5 per cent growth but federal statistics show that Trump has missed that goal each year he’s been in office.

The same is happening in Zimbabwe as the ruling ZANU PF has failed to achieve any of its targets.
