MCAZ Busts Illegal Medical Centre In Kuwadzana

The Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ) said it has busted an unlicensed medical centre, Superlink Medical Centre located in Kuwadzana Phase 3.

The facility was being supervised by an unlicensed and unqualified individual, and there were also unlicensed medicines on the premises. MCAZ said in a statement:

Following another tip-off from a concerned member of the public, MCAZ inspected Superlink Medical Centre located at 12632 Kuwadzana Phase 3 Shopping Centre.

The facility was not licensed by the Health Professions Authority Zimbabwe (HPAZ) ; it did not have a dispensing license from MCAZ, and it was being supervised by an unqualified and unlicensed gentleman.

Furthermore, unregistered medicines were discovered on the premises, with some hidden in a litter bin.
