First Coronavirus Death Outside China Has Been Reported - Spectator Index

The Spectator Index has reported that the first coronavirus death outside China has taken place in the Philippines, an archipelagic country in Southeast Asia.

The Philippines shares maritime borders with Taiwan to the north, Japan to the northeast, Vietnam to the west, Palau to the east, and Malaysia and Indonesia to the south.

The Coronavirus was first reported in China in December and the WHO On 31 December 2019 was alerted to several cases of pneumonia in Wuhan City, Hubei Province of China and has been working with Chinese authorities and global experts from that day forward.

In Africa, a suspected case was reported in Botswana and the suspect case was intercepted at the airport and was quarantined.
