FC Platinum Lose 2-0 To Etoile du Sahel Of Tunisia

Zimbabwe football champions FC Platinum (FCP) lost 2-0 to Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia in a CAF Champions League match played at the Olympic Stadium in Rades on Saturday night.

Etoile scored both their goals in the second through Algerian forward Karim Aribi (48β€²), who has bagged 10 goals so far this season, and midfielder Malek Baayou (72β€²).

The Tunisian giants secured a seeded spot in the quarterfinals after finishing the group on 12 points while Al Ahly finished second on 11 points.

Meanwhile, Al Hilal of Sudan and FCP will hope to progress to the next round in the coming seasons.

FCP finished bottom of the group with only 1 point from a possible 18.
