Tsenengamu Pledges To Confront The Forces Of Cruelty & Inhumanity Destroying Zimbabwe

ZANU PF Youth League national political commissar, Godfrey Tsenengamu has vowed to confront without fear those he considers to be destroying the nation.

Tsenengamu used his Facebook page to vent his frustration over “those who watch” while the nation is being destroyed by a few evil people. Below is his post in full:

Bearing in mind that my existence as l stands here today is because somebody made a choice somewhere to stand for me when it was risky and treasonous.

Standing up when it was hard and unpopular to do so. And because that somebody defied odds and stood up ready to shed his blood, sweat and tears, it inspired a few more who also stood up, causing a few hundred to stand up and eventually encouraged a few thousand to stand up in sacrifice, which standing was with courage, clear purpose and motivated by principle and love for freedom, peace and equality; l hereby also make my choice today to stand up for my generation and posterity and the cause of our time not for applause nor reward.

From this moment l choose to confront unequivocally the anxiety of my generation and ready to pay the price for l know the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in times of comfort but where he stands in times of challenge and controversy.

Future generations will definitely not blame the few evil-doers of current but the silence and inaction of the righteous overwhelming majority who like a chameleon are taking colour from the environment than putting colour into the environment.

Destiny is not an accident but an object of choice, so l hereby choose to plant a tree under whose shade l may not sit for my value will not be measured by what l did for myself but for others.

In doing this l choose to conduct myself with morality, integrity and consistency, thus l need not fear the forces of inhumanity and cruelty.

Noting that this nation is not being destroyed by those few who do evil but by those who watch them without doing something positive, l choose to stand for something for if l am to stand for nothing then l will deserve anything and everything.

I will not be afraid to be kicked in the teeth for my blood and bruises will define my legacy for legacy is greater than wealth which may last a lifetime
