Marry Chiwenga Denied Bail On Assault Charge Involving Housemaid

Vice President Constantino Chiwenga’s estranged wife, Marry Chiwenga (nee Mubaiwa) was on Saturday denied bail over assault charges.

Marry was arrested after she allegedly assaulted the family housemaid on Tuesday at Hellenic School in Borrowdale following an altercation over the custody of her children.

Mrs Chiwenga reportedly struck Delight Munyoro on the chick and she sustained a cut on her lips and shaking teeth.

The altercation ensued when Munyoro, aged 36, had gone to the school to pick up Chiwenga’s children.

Meanwhile, a High Court judge recently ruled that Marry should be given custody of her children by VP Chiwenga appealed against the ruling.
