Concern Raised As Chief Justice Malaba Fast-Tracks VP Chiwenga's Appeal

Concerns over possibilities of abuse of power and capture of the judiciary have been raised following the recent move by Chief Justice Luke Malaba to quicken Vice President Constantino Chiwenga’s appeal against a High Court judgment.

The High Court judgment gave Chiwenga’s estranged wife, Marry Mubaiwa-Chiwenga child custody and right to access their matrimonial home in Borrowdale and other properties belonging to the couple.
