Donata Katai Wins 2019 Junior Sportswoman Of The Year

Swimming Champion 15-year-old Donata Katai was crowned 2019 sportswoman of the year at the Annual National Sports Awards currently underway at the Mana Resort in Harare. Donata will walk away with the ZWL $15000 prize money.

Donata broke Sports Minister Kirsty Coventry’s 1998 record in 2019 at the South Africa National Junior Championships at Kings Park Pool in Durban. Donata went on to win a second gold medal at the Junior African Champions in Tunisia
