Former Warriors goalkeeper Energy Murambadoro has reportedly agreed on a deal with Chicken Inn FC to become the club’s goalkeepers’ coach.
H-Metro was told that Murambadoro will join the Gamecocks for pre-season anytime, ahead of the 2020 Premier Soccer League season. The publication’s source is quoted as saying:
Energy (Murambadoro) is joining Chicken Inn as goalkeepers’ coach. They have agreed on terms and is expected to join them for pre-season anytime.
He has done well as a goalkeeper and the guys at Chicken Inn felt he will bring something into their team. He will work with coach Joey Antipas and his technical staff.
The 37-year-old was Warriors first choice ‘keeper in 2004 when Zimbabwe qualified for the African Cup of Nations for the first time.
He retired from a football career that has spanned to over 16 years in May 2019.
