Predicted Violent Storms Might Worsen The Power Supply Situation - ZESA

ZESA has said the upcoming violent storms as predicted by the Meteorological Services Department might interrupt power supply as they may damage infrastructure, The Chronicle reports.

This was revealed by ZESA spokesperson Mr Fullard Gwasira who spoke to The Herald and said:

Violent storms will affect service delivery. The number of rain-induced faults and the time taken to restore service will be longer due to the high number of faults involved.

Power supply has been suppressed for the last 8 months due to power generation issues caused by a number of reasons.
