MaShurugwi Rob A Family In Harare’s Emerald Hill Suburb

An infamous Machete-wielding gang also known as MaShurugwi pounced on a family in Harare’s Emerald Hills suburb and stole cash amounting to US $11500, The Herald reports. The robbers who were driving 2 unregistered vehicles attacked the property’s security guards before committing the crime.

The Incident was confirmed by ZRP national spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi who said:

We confirm that the complainant and his security guards were attacked by a machete-wielding gang at their house and the robbers went away with US$11 500.

The gang was using a Toyota Wish and a VW Golf during the attack

Machete-Wielding gangs have been terrorising residents and artisanal miners in most parts of the country of late.

  1. This is a complete failure of Mnangagwa government to implement law in the country his officers are good at killing civilians .During Mugabe time we never saw such things happening mr president nyika haitongwi nechikorokoza

  2. Its a shame to the rulling government.Police officials only found on points where they’re corrupt.They’re busy taking hard earned income from civilians instead of paying attention to criminal activities.
