Air Zimbabwe Redemption Possible, We Need To Get The Airline Up In The Air - Mthuli Ncube

Finance Minister Professor Mthuli Ncube said he was optimistic about reviving the country’s ailing airline Air Zimbabwe, The Herald reports,

Mthuli was speaking in an interview with the publication when he said:

…I am just highlighting one issue around tourism where we know that as Government we need to assist, we are going to get our airline up in the air. This year we need to be determined to do this not only to support citizens but also move tourists

I remain optimistic that the Airline is not beyond redemption and as Government, we are determined to see it back to a robust state,

Air Zimbabwe reportedly requires US$ 45 Million to be operational as it is using one aircraft to service its 4 routes at the moment.
