CUT announced that applicants should have at least five (5) O-Level passes including English Language, Mathematics and at least two (2) A-Level passes in relevant subjects although Special Entry may be granted to applicants with a relevant Diploma. 

Applicants aged at least twenty-five (25) years for males and twenty-three (23) years for females with
relevant working experience may be considered under Maturity Entry.

1. Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Agricultural Engineering degree with options in Mechanisation and Irrigation (5 years).
2. Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Food Science and Technology degree (4 years) “A” Level passes in Chemistry and/or Food Science and any of the following subjects: Biology, Food Science,  Mathematics, Statistics or any approved equivalents.
3. Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Animal Production and Technology degree (4 years) “A” Level passes in Biology or Agriculture plus any of the following subjects: Chemistry, Geography, Mathematics or
   Physics, Animal Science, Statistics or any approved equivalents.
4. Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Environmental Science and Technology degree (4 years) Any two (2) “A” Level passes from the following subjects: Mathematics, Geography, Agriculture, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Statistics, Design and Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Crop Science or any Science subject.
5. Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biotechnology degree (4 years) “A” Level passes in Biology, Chemistry and any of the following subjects: Mathematics, Geography, Physics, Statistics, Animal Science, Crop Science, Horticulture or any Science subject.
6. Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Crop Science and Technology degree (4 years) “A” Level passes in Biology or Agriculture plus any of the following subjects: Chemistry, Mathematics, Geography,
   Physics, Horticulture, Statistics, Crop Science or any Science subject.
7. Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Soil Science and Land Resource Management degree (4 years) “A” Level passes in Chemistry and any other natural science subject (Biology, Physics, Physical Science, Mathematics, Agriculture, Geography or any other equivalent subjects)

4. Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biology degree with Majors in Environmental Biology, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Plant Science, Tropical Disease Biology, (4 years) “A” Level passes in Biology and at least one of the following Advanced Level subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Computer
   Science, Chemistry, Physical Science, Agriculture or their recognised equivalents.
5. Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Instrumentation and Microprocessor Technology degree (4 years)
   “A” Level passes in Physics and Mathematics or “A” Level Physical Science and Mathematics or “A” Level Physics with Chemistry and Mathematics or their recognised equivalents.

Application Forms are obtainable upon payment of a non–refundable Application Fee of twenty dollars (RTGS$20) dollars for Zimbabwean citizens and fifty (US$85) dollars for foreigners.
