ZUPCO Offers To Ferry Students To Boarding Schools

Zupco has offered to ferry students back to their respective boarding schools if engaged, Sunday Mail reports. This was revealed in a statement by the Zupco Acting CEO Mr Everisto Madangwa who said ZUPCO was ready to ferry students since they have the capacity to meet demand.

Mr Mudangwa said:

We have enough buses for schools opening; just like we did during the festive season. Schools which need transport should immediately come to our offices so that we can work out a plan to assist them.

There should not be any fears about transport shortages in the schools opening week because all of our buses will be on the road

Schools are supposed to open on Tuesday but it is still not clear if teachers will show up for duty after Apex Council rejected the 97% salary increment offered by the government.
