POLAD has mapped out 2020 plans and according to one of the members they plan on achieving all of them because they are achievable.
The goals according to The Herald are:
- Holding a workshop on anti-corruption
- Having a consultative meeting on constitutional amendments.
- Lobbying for the removal of sanctions at the African Union (AU) Summit
Speaking to the publication, MDC T’s Obert Gutu said the goals were achievable because they are realistic:
Our work plan for the first quarter of 2020 is extremely realistic and achievable. As POLAD, we have got the willingness and commitment to see the work plan implemented and the desired outputs achieved….This is a call to national duty. Indeed, this is national service. We are not going to disappoint
POLAD is yet to yield tangible results since inception in May 2019.
