Blind Beggar Gets $3 000 Per Month From Buses
A visually challenged man who survives on begging in busses on Monday revealed that he makes $3 000 per month from begging.
The man, who was hauled before the Harare Civil Court by his wife, offered to pay $900 maintenance for his estranged wife and children.
Moses Ncube is accused of pampering his girlfriend with money at the expense of his wife Enerita Marindire who is also blind. Ncube told the court:
I cannot afford to pay $1 500 instead I will pay $900.
I survive from begging and I realise $3000 per month.
