ED Turning POLAD Into A Foreign Policy Tool To Save Himself – Jonathan Moyo

Jonathan Moyo has claimed that POLAD’s resolution to engage SADC is the President’s attempt to save face as he was embarrassed by a coup attempt that supposedly happened in early November.

According to the exiled politician, the President is planning to use POLAD as a foreign policy tool because the alleged failed coup made him panic over his inner circle.

Moyo tweeted:

15/24 The aftermath of the attempted coup has left Mnangagwa holed up, fearing fear itself, and has engendered panic in his inner circle which has alarmed & embarrased Sadc by turning POLAD election losers into a foreign policy tool; on the eve of Ramaphosa becoming AU chairman!

POLAD met at the president’s farm last week and requested for sitting allowances and all-terrain vehicles and the president agreed.

  1. Even the astute Ian Douglas Smith failed to convince the international world that his setup (the internal settlement) could produce results in favour of his UDI. The same applies to ED’s Polad crew.
