Zimbabwe Mulls Cloud Seeding As The Dry Spell Continues

Zimbabwe is considering introducing cloud seeding to aid rainfall because of the dry spell ravaging the country The Sunday Mail reports.

This was said by Lands, Agriculture, Water and Rural Resettlement Deputy Minister Douglas Karoro who revealed that cloud seeding plans were already at an advanced stage.

Said Mr Karoro:

We are planning to venture into cloud-seeding since the country has not been receiving enough rainfall and our plans are now at an advanced stage. The current crop situation is a bit distressful to our farmers.

Farmers have already expressed their concern over the prevailing dry spell.
