Ray Vines “Mukukuzvi” To Host Vic Falls Carnival

A 21-year-old MSU first-year student, Melusi Chiripowako popularly known as Ray Vines or Mukukuzvi will host the hyped Victoria Falls Carnival early next week, The Chronicle reports. Ray Vines is popular for his Shona skits all over social media.

The comedian/MC spoke to the Chronicles and tabled his excitement about the challenge and said:

Honestly, I’m happy and at the same time nervous because this is now on a higher level. This is not just a local thing, but it’s an international event which means I need to be at my best if I’m to create a name for myself out there.

…I’ll use the event as an opportunity to market the Zimbabwean brand beyond the country’s borders as I’m eyeing to penetrate the international market next year.

Ray Vines will rub shoulders with the elite and international stars like South Africa’s AKA Prince Kaybee, Dj Maphorisa and Shekhinah.
