“There Is No Benefit In Talking About How The Economy Collapsed Under Zanu PF,” ED

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has said that Zimbabweans must not dwell in the past but must focus on rebuilding the collapsed economy.

Addressing leaders of the Political Actors Dialogue (POLAD) forum at his farm in Kwekwe Sunday, Mnangagwa said:

The issues which concern us I think remain economic issues.

The point of focus is how do we resuscitate our economy. In my view, there is no benefit in talking about how the economy collapsed under Zanu PF. None of us should live in the past.

He added that history was important as far as it teaches humans about past and present mistakes adding that the lessons would be the basis for building a better tomorrow.

The president’s remarks come as some observers are sceptical that the same ruling ZANU PF that collapsed economy will ever be able to resuscitate it.

  1. With the continuation of abuse of funds it is true economy will never be corrected by the offenders. Instead they will defend themselves. As long as we have Mnangagwa son in RBZ we are going nowhere. As long as we do not purchase our own Aircraft for his trips hiring everytime definitely we are going nowhere. Abductions and torture of activists is self imposition of sanctions.

  2. Mnangagwa and Zanu at large we are tired of that boring song. What have u done right except for distributing our beautiful country more and more ,you bunch of losers you dont stop to amuse us. You think us as Zimbabweans we value u ! You just like tissue papers we use to wipe asses

  3. But the problem is that ZANU PF and the government are living in the past maintaining their luxurious standard of living while the rest have had to tighten their belts and eke out a living.
