ZUPCO Bus Fares To Remain The Same During Festive Holidays {Full Thread}
The Zimbabwe United Passengers Company (ZUPCO) says it has so far received over 500 buses since February this year and expect more to come from China and Belarus.
In a statement on Twitter, the transport utility said bus fares will not be increased during the festive period. The statement reads:
As the year comes to an end we would like to the President Emmerson Mnangagwa for the donation he made to ZUPCO this year.

We have so far received more than 500 buses since February and more buses continue to come from Belarus and China hence our dream to get all the teachers [Raymond Majongwe] and doctors [Dr Peter Magombeyi] and ZCTU to work and serve our nation.

We also like to assure you that unlike public transport all our buses will not increase fares this festive season. Our drivers will not be drinking whilst driving you to your desired holiday resorts.
