Marry Facing 6 Counts Of Fraud And Externalization Charges

The Vice President’s wife, Marry Chiwenga is facing 6 counts of money laundering and externalisation charges, the Chronicle reports.

ZACC‘s John Makamure confirmed Marry’s arrest but declined to give further details about the case:

I am not yet privy to the circumstances but I can tell you she was arrested on Saturday for allegedly externalising currency and money laundering. I have not heard about the fraud case. I will have more details when I get to the office tomorrow(today)

Marry is also accused of fraudulently trying to obtain a marriage certificate while the Vice President was indisposed in South Africa.
