Number Of Indian Investors Coming To Zimbabwe Increases - Report

According to a report compiled by ZIA, Investment registration by Indian investors have risen since 2016, The Sunday Mail reports.

The Indian Ambassador to Zimbabwe Rungsung Masakui said the investment registrations by his nationals have risen to over 30 a number he was confident will increase according to the publication.

The ambassador reportedly said:

In 2016, there were 13 registrations with the Zimbabwe Investments Authority, which came down to seven in 2017. In 2018, registrations shot up to 37. As I speak, registrations are now standing at 39,

The president when he took office in 2017 emphasised on the ripeness of Zimbabwe as an investment destination with his mantra Zimbabwe is open for business.
