For Us There Is No Excitement In Rejoining Commonwealth A Club Of Former Colonies - Mutodi

Controversial Public Official,  Information Deputy Minister Energy Mutodi once again, in a way that left some Twimbos with question marks took a swipe at the commonwealth and called it a club of former colonies.

Mutodi was talking about “them” not having excitement about rejoining commonwealth when he said:

Re-joining the Commonwealth may be crucial to the UK & to Ambassador Melanie Robinson from one angle but to us there is no excitement in rejoining a club of former colonies without guarantee of mutual respect & sovereignty. The game of endless reforms is shameful.

Mutodi also claimed, the British are after Africa’s natural resources and Zimbabwe is fine with China and Russia as their allies.

They obviously need a longer list of former colonies in their solely controlled Commonwealth club. Remember there are still a lot of natural resources to exploit in Africa with Zim shining with platinum. But we have China & Russia. We will not be desperate to join Commonwealth
