Police Warn Against Online Dating
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has warned members of the public to desist from online dating following the r_pe of a Harare woman by her boyfriend who lured her to his place after they met for the first time.
ZRP issued the warning on Monday through a post on its official Twitter handle. The warning read:
A 29-year-old woman was r_ped after she was lured to meet her online boyfriend at night. The victim met the accused along S. Machel, Harare for the first time and the two drove to a house where the complainant was later r_ped.

In another post, police warned citizens against practising acts of bestiality after a 92-year-old man was caught in the act with a dog. Police said:

A Karoi man (92) has been arrested for bestiality after he was caught in the act committing the offence with a dog. It is a serious offence to perform unnatural acts with animals.
