365 Doctors Apply For Higher Life Foundation Training Fellowship

365 junior doctors, senior doctors, and consultants have applied for the Higherlife Foundation (HLF) training fellowship.

This was revealed by HLF CEO Kennedy Mubaiwa while addressing a press conference at the Foundation’s Alpes Road Offices in Harare. He said:

The response was so overwhelming to the extent that we had to move the deadline (for submission of applications) from 5 pm to 10 pm.

Mubaiwa added that HLF is currently evaluating all applications and successful applicants will be informed by the end of day on Friday.

Furthermore, any fellowship holder who steps forward and is willing to provide health cover from December 9, 2019, to January 9, 2020, will be paid an additional Z$5 000 from Fellowship fund.

The Masiyiwa family last week unveiled $100 million training Fellowship for doctors who have been hitherto incapacitated because of eroded salaries, guaranteeing each a $5 000 monthly salary for the next 6 months.
