Final Year student doctors spoke to Nehanda Radio about how the Doctors’ strike has affected them. Some say they are ill-prepared for the exam as they haven’t learnt anything in the past 3 months. They also questioned the quality of their training as it is still not clear if they will be trained doctors without the practical experience especially in surgery, which they were supposed to do in the last 12 weeks when the strike was in full force.
Some even called their degrees fake as they have not yet fulfilled all the requirements needed for them to be fully qualified doctors.
