Money Sent By Other Countries For Skits Wont Reflect In Treasury's Coffers - Mangwana Speaks On Different Donated Funds Accounts

Nick Mangwana has taken the time to explain why there may be some disparities between what some governments claim they have given to Zimbabwe against what Treasury says it received from them.

Using Twitter the Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Perm Sec said:

We appreciate moneys other nations spend on programs in this country. Some moneys are spent via CSOs, NGOs & some directly on certain projects. As an example; a certain country may fund a Zim comedienne to do certain skits. Of course our Treasury can’t put that money in our books

His tweet came a few hours after the US claimed it gave over $300 million to Zimbabwe but treasury said they received less than $55 Million a claim similar to the one made by China a few weeks ago.
